How to Integrate Slack & kloudfox

Integrating Slack with Kloud Fox allows you to receive incident alerts directly in your Slack workspace.

The incident alert messages include information about the monitor and provide options to view the incident or see more details in Uptime.

Since these alerts are posted as regular Slack messages, you can create threads under them to tag colleagues and start collaborating quickly.

Before configuring this integration, ensure you have a dedicated Slack channel for incident alerts.

If you don’t have one, you can create a new channel and name it, for example, #betterstack, #incidents, or #on-call.

Connecting Slack with Kloud Fox Uptime:

1. Go to Integrations.
2. Find the Slack integration row.
3. Click Add to Slack.
4. You will be redirected to Slack.
5. Select the channel where you want to post new incident messages.
6. Click Allow.

Now, all new incidents and monitor alerts will automatically be posted in the selected Slack channel.
